Since 1816, agriculture and dairy farming have been central to the Pettit family lineage, and in 2022, they launched Mistyglen Creamery to process and sell milk, cheese curds, and yogurt directly from their dairy farm. Their products are available in stores throughout Elgin County, and the farm store near Belmont also offers a selection of local artisan goods alongside their own dairy offerings.
